Mid-East Commission, as Administrative Entity for the Rivers East Workforce Development Board and the Rivers East Workforce Investment Consortium will be accepting Request for Proposals (RFP’s) from qualified and eligible organizations and businesses for the competitive selection of Adult & Dislocated Worker program operation(s), Youth program operation(s), and local One-Stop Operation(s) under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Please note, we are releasing three separate RFPs. The intent of Rivers East Workforce Development Board and Rivers East Workforce Investment Consortium is to enter into a contractual relationship with one or more proposers beginning July 1, 2025 for a modified two-year period (through June 30, 2027). We are currently looking to assist properties in the Town of Belhaven and surrounding communities including Pantego, Sydney, Burbage, Crossroads, Pamlico Beach, and any of the areas where homes are impacted by riverine flooding. We will be available at the Belhaven Public Library April 10th from 4pm-6pm and April 10th 3pm-5pm. No appointment is needed, and you may drop in anytime during the available hours. We will also have available preparedness materials, and information on some of the aging services and resources available through the Mid-East Commission Area Agency on Aging department.
