The Mid-East Commission Community Services Department provides services with the goal of supporting local governments that may not possess the capacity or resources on their own. These services can be available either as one-time solutions or on a recurring basis, tailored to the specific needs of our local governments. Projects falling within our services may incur a fee, subject to mutual agreement between the MEC and the respective government unit. These fees allow MEC to continue to provide assistance across 5 counties and over 40 municipalities.
Join our constant contact to recieve updates from the MEC Community Services Newsletter, where we regularly send out community and economic development-related news, updates, services, grant opportunities, training sessions, and more. Our Community Services Department carefully screens numerous sources to include the best information for our service area. You may also unsubscribe at any time.
